WHO IS TAKING ALL OF OUR CATS?!

Okay, so there has been an influx and an abundance of lost cat flyers in the neighborhood lately. The on that is super dramatic is in Red Hook..a before and after of the cat that's left being all sad about the one that went missing..I dunno..it has a webiste about the lost cat on the flyer and may be a joke. I haven't checked it out yet. But around the east village and LES it's one flyer after another of one cat going missing after another. WHAT IS GOING ON HERE? Soon all of our cats will be in outer space. It's pretty clear to me if they are not here they are in space. SCIENCE.

  1. I beg to differ about the science part...clearly, in the Book of Revelations, it describes a cat Rapture when all of God's felines are called home to sit with God while the anti-Christ battles it out with Jesus here on Earth. The Baby Jesus came to me in a vision and told me of this, either that or the cat box smell portended of such a phenomenon, I can't remember which. Of course, all of the Jewish cats will go home to Israel, but you knew that...Judging by all of the "missing" cats, I'd say the cat Rapture has started!!!

  2. But what about the "found" kitten? Can that one be shot into outer space at least? Please? PLEASE?

  5. I don't think they're being stolen.

I think that people throw their windows open during the first heat wave, before they get their screens in, and the cats go out the window looking for birds or squirrels or whatever.

Every spring there is always a rash of "lost cat" signs. Why would this year be any different?

  6. I hope they find Toby. He is the cutest.

  7. These flyers CLEARLY prove the existence of aliens and reptile people. If this not proof enough I just don't know what is. Encounters of the fifth kind-pod people stealing our beloved pets!
Toby is too crazy looking to be lost for long..someone must have taken him in. That's a fancy pants cat if I ever saw one. The cats I see darting around under cars and in the park at night seem too smart to get hit by cars..I hope!

  8. It's catastrophic! Cataclysmic! ...Well, maybe some, at least, rented catamarans and are summering while exploring the catacombs, others are building catafalques to their dearly departed...who really knows, but Jesus, of course, he knows, he knows...

  9. Okay, now, this may be rumor; I know people say all kinds of things in conversation, but I heard that "Pinkerton" was recently seen vacationing in Catmandu! However, I've yet to get confirmation from a primary source.
