Some pics of us at the Brooklyn Folk fest gig. Fool!

My friend Simona took these shots with my phone...we should have some footage up at some point and some more pics hopefully. There were certainly enough folks with cameras snapping away!
What an incredible week! Better than I hoped and we leave on wednesday for SF and LA so John and Robert can look at 78s while I run around like a maniac in my old stomping grounds! Feels like summer already!

Playing the Brooklyn Folk Fest at The Bellhouse with Crumb tonight!

Okay, so since Crumb got in last week things have been nuts! In a good way...we played a warm up gig at Jalopy wednesday, ran to be on NPR's SoundCheck show Thursday morning, did a two hour podcast for John's Old Time Radio Show last night, got a small mention in the Wall St Journal,
and tonight we head to the Bellhouse to play at 6:45pm with Crumb, Dom Flemons and more! Amazing times and we head to the west coast on wednesday for over a week...
So here are a mess of pics from my iPhone from this particular order..and a link you can cut and paste to our set on NPR which is still getting us tons of emails, comments and new fans since it aired last night.

Here is a link to NPR set:

Slideshow at C squat over the weekend.

There was a slideshow at Morus museum a few days ago as a prequel to my friend's zine release party there on May 3rd. A house member did a ton of research and he begins in the mid 1800's and goes on from there and chronicles what the building started out as( a pickle factory) up until the 1980's and 90's when it became Csquat. Very cool and very interesting! There will be live music at the show on the 3rd where the zine will be available to buy.
The bottom pics are of the "birth certificate" of Csquat and Csquat being featured in Maximum Rock and Roll.
