Randomish Stuffs and AMAZING new Robert Crumb artwork we got!

Okay so lots of weird this and that here..trying to upload everything on my desktop before I leave for Florida this week and then for Freedom France in July. The top tow pics are of course some great new art we got from R. Crumb...The top one is our latest album due out at the end of the year...I love that water color more than anything in the world right now. I knew I was surrounded by clowns! Then possible the best drawing I have ever seen from Crumb under that...just genius. Look at the shading and lighting. Jeez!
Then a great book I saw on the street...the graphics make it. A beer tree that grew during that park show a few weeks ago where 60 kids got too drunk of the cops to want to deal with so i may have posted it already...I am busy trying to get my packing together for Melbourne Fla so I am kinda swamped...
Then Choking Victim recorded an album at CSquat  and I took just one pic of people having trouble hanging the flag upside down for the album pics i guess. Was pretty funny. And I have NO idea what that 80's MTV thing is that ended up, of course, at Csquat somehow as all weird shit tends to do.
Lots more stuff to post but what a great week with that Crumb art being done for us! Since it's like a hurricane out I figured I would update this blog. Soon it will be all waterfalls and french food and the wonderful Crumbs whom we are buying a house across from and that will make everyone hate me and love me both as they want to be there too but they get to see all the cool stuff in Sauve I am doing...we finish our new album there and will have gigs and stuff of course. Cannot wait!

Sesame Street filming a car commercial in Tompkins this past week.

So John worked boom on Sesame street for a bit and I  and got to meet everyone and to go crazy drunk wrap parties where the puppets were cursing and sexing it up and it was great. So fun to see these guys in Tompkins all week even if it was for freaking a car ad.
Took some pics and videos as usual...having such a fun spring lately but I still need some crazy drunk nights before I leave for France in July..I have two weeks to do this cause I leave for Melbourne FLA this week...so hopefully it will be hot when i get back and I caF just go nuts and run around so much that i will be ready for mellow france...though actually new bars opened up there and they all speak english and i know the owners and lots of wine will be there so I can get my party on there too. It all happens at La Place there every night with music and booze and great food so there will be pics a plenty of that on my fb and twitter and on here too of course...Sauve also has a tattoo shop and a book/zine store that hosts a punk venue too. Crazy!
For now some of Big Bird and the crew sweating it out at the park...The top pic is my talented good friend Martine Blue whose feature film Hunting Pignut will be at the huge Toronto Film fest next week so she got some press for it...so proud of her! Cant help but laugh at the utter psycho I knew who just pretends to make films for about 20 years now..but cant use a camera at all...just makes up fake things she is working on and editing for years and years now..then something happens and OOPS she lost the footage somehow! Martine and I joke about this...The best thing about a Martine Film is that it exists and is real! Then I saw that ear on the ground and though i think it was rubber i did not touch it to find out! It sort of looks delicious though...

So Much Stuff and Everyone Loves my Stuff. Don't touch my stuff though.

So it's one million degrees and i love it and i just got home and I have some pics from the body pride parade which was small but funny..and today Sesame Street was filming a commercial in Tompkins today so I got some pics and videos of that too.
I will post the NAKED PARADE first and the rest tomorrow..going to Melbourne Florida where it seems to be pouring on the 22nd with my Swedish family folk so I really don't have much time left in NYC to run wild and drunk and all that...have a little bit of a cold too so gotta rid myself of that...I am still at every event though!
So here is the small and strange and sort of goth 2nd annual NAKED PARADE which ended up at the fountain of Washington Square park as it was so so hot out.
I just wore my usual costume type weird clothes...there were more men there taking pics of boobs then actual boobs.

Dead Cover Band in Tompkins for their 50th show anniversary. Apparently.

Apparently today was the anniversary of the Grateful Dead's first show and it was apparently in Tompkins Square Park I guess and I apparently went to the park with John just to get sun and we were accosted by hippies dancing around to a pretty good Dead Cover Band who were on a lot less heroin that Jerry Garcia was as they sort of sounded better than the Dead ever did.
I don't like that music anymore but I was a deadhead from age 14-18 and I did go on Dead tour in between Rainbow Gatherings with my best friend Spyce for over a year long ago so this stuff has good memories for me. I think in 1990 I caught the Dead popularity revival cause we hitchhiked across country and back and half the cars on the highways were hippies going to shows. Never had any problems, just had a lot of fun I can barely remember now!
I think people still follow the Dead offshoot bands and Phish of course whom I can't stand but I feel like I got to experience the last legs of that kind of fun. In 1991-92 I got sick of the whole thing and discovered punk rock so that was the end of that. Then Jerry died and Haight Ashbury mourned for weeks...But man, do I have some crazy memories from Tour and the freaking parking lot insanity...the Spinners, a cult who thought god spoke through Jerry Garcia and made fake tickets so they could get into every show and spin around like whirling dervishes...doing nitrous on top of whatever psychedelic school bus I happened to be traveling with at that time...If i ever finish my damn book you can read all the hippie chronicles...
But for now...here was Tompkins Square Park today for about 4 hours. The ages ranged from around 5-85! Did I mention the huge cardboard Jerry Garcia there? That last group pic was taken by Stacie Joy whom I hung out with during the show amongst other dead fans or just folks enjoying an 80 degrees sunny day in the park WITH HIPPIESAND NOODLING.
